Unplug and uniteGive each other your undivided attention. Turn off notifications on every phone except the one running this kit, and use devices only to capture photos and share your night together.
No negativity allowedTonight is a conflict-free, complaint-free, nice zone. If a rule gets broken, gently remind each other you're here to have fun.
Game plan
Tonight is game day for the two of you. Check these off ahead of time.
The coin toss
Every game starts with a coin toss. Heads, {W} kicks off first. Tails, {H} does.
Every great game starts with a seven-second kickoff kiss.
Then head to your stadium. Build your team on the way.Then grab your snacks. It's time to build your team.
Our team
You two are a team! Your team is named after the town where you met. Pick your mascot and colors, and suit up.
Paper football
Fold a football, then play across the table while you wait for your food.
- Make a long strip. Fold your sheet in half the long way and tear it along the fold. Fold one half in half the long way again, for a strip about 2 inches wide.
- Fold a triangle. At one end, fold a corner over to make a small triangle, lining the edge up with the side of the strip.
- Keep folding. Flip the triangle over onto the strip again and again, like folding a flag, until only a short tail is left.
- Tuck the tail. Tuck the leftover end into the pocket of the triangle. Tear off any extra first. Touchdown!
- Sit across the table. Take turns flicking or sliding the football toward your spouse's edge. You get four tries (downs) to score, unless the football falls off the table.
- Touchdown (6 points): the football stops with part of it hanging over the far edge, without falling off.
- Extra point (1 point): after a touchdown, your spouse makes goalposts with their hands (thumbs touching, pointer fingers up). Hold the football upright and flick it through.
- Turnover: if it falls off the table, or you don't score in four downs, it's your spouse's ball.
- First to 21 wins, or play until the food arrives.

Every great team huddles up. Take turns answering.
